The pack is made from recycled 450-denier PET body fabric, with a 150-denier recycled PET ripstop liner and 840-denier recycled PET reinforcements. As a result, the Hiker is less resource intensive than most other packs, making it an ideal choice for the eco-conscious hiker. The daypack is also extremely comfortable, with dual-density foam shoulder straps, an air-mesh foam back panel, and a removable pivoting waist belt that tucks away easily when not in use. Best of all, the Hiker offers 1,586 cubic inches of storage space, with a large main compartment, a front panel pocket, an organizational sleeve, two side mesh pockets, and internal organizer pockets.

Other features include a molded and contoured HDPE frame sheet, an easy-access haul handle, two compression straps, a safety whistle located on the chest strap/buckle, an elastic sternum strap with a bite-valve catch, four load adjusters, trekking pole mounts, and elastic rigging. I hurt myself so I had to return the item because I had to cancel the hike I planned to use it on. I liked all the packs features and the fact that it was made of recycled materials, however, I thought it was way to heavy.
