It's been great! The only thing I wish is that I had looked into it a bit closer and purchased a bag with a waterproof cover.

Proformed like a $100 bag. Super durable, I fell down a hill and it didn't have a scratch, tear or snag anywhere. Tons of pockets! The bottom compartment, fit our sleepingbags nicely. Front pocket fit our first aid, which made it easy to access. Waterbottle pockets fit multiple styles&sizes. Comfortable to carry on different terrain. Worked great for an average 5'9" female and a super skinny 5'7" male; the straps changed enough to fit everyone comfortably. Under the top flap, that opened into the main compartment, is a drawl string, which wasnt ideal, but nice.
Overall, It was great!. We packed everything we needed and some extras (about 40 pounds each) and still didn't fill it full.

I bought this pack for a trip up Mt. Whitney and I did plenty of research prior to buying, on packs, both expensive and cheap. I feel incredibly satisfied with this purchase. First, this is a quality pack. Don't let the price fool you. It's cheap, but not cheaply made. The stitching, the straps, the fabric, it is all well made and durable. There is plenty of room in this pack for 3-7 day trip, maybe more (or less) depending on how big or small your gear is. It has nice, big, deep side pockets, a section for a sleeping bag or bear canister, loops for sleeping pad, mesh pockets for water, etc. It even has a small opening on the side and a clip on the shoulder strap for a Camelbak hose. I looked at backpacks from REI and was shocked at how expensive they were. The cheaper ones started at 4x what I paid for this one. I figured, if I buy this one, and its not good, then at least I won't have spent much. But, I am completely happy with my choice. Plus, I saved tons of money that I can use for other stuff I need. Some of the reviews on this pack mentioned that the zippers were hard to unzip. They aren't the easiest, but it's because of the flap that protects the zipper, not the zipper itself. I didn't find it overly difficult. The only downside to this pack, and its not even really anything about the pack itself, but I would like it more if it had a rain cover built in. No big deal though. I have tested this pack on some gnarly hikes and never felt it was inadequate.

Great backpack! I went on a 2 week mission trip to Togo, Africa and pretty much lived out of this bag and nothing more for the entire time. For a trip that long I would have liked just a tiny bit more space, but it served me well. I did end up buying a compression pack (recommended) to be able to fit lots of clothes and a sleeping bag and take up less room than normal.
I never had to wear the bag for more than maybe 30 minutes tops at a time in the airports, but it never felt uncomfortable as long as I used the waist and chest straps.
Anyway, this is recommended, especially for the price, about $35 when I got it! Do keep in mind that shipping is around $30 for this, and it's not on Amazon Prime. So I ended up paying roughly double the cost, but I have friends who payed that much for their backpacks and I felt like this was a better bag anyway.

I was a little leary of the price of this pack but it got good reviews so we took the plunge. We've taken it out on some camp hikes (couple day jobs) and these packs held up very well. We fit everything in the pack with room to spare and yet the pack was not a burden to carry. An outfitter friend of mine checked them out and said he was really impressed with how well they were built and the material. "You'll NEVER rip this material" was his comment. I'd like the zippers to work smoother but considering I'm saving at least $100 on a simliar pack, they are fine. I love the external pockets (which a lot of pricier packs don't have). I bought 2 and I'll probably buy another.
